Halloween Adventure at Pine Grove Furnace State Park

Every year around Halloween, the hairy hand returns to Pine Grove Furnace State Park to haunt Fuller Lake. To force this ghostly hand away, hundreds of lighted pumpkins must be floated on rafts out on the lake. The pumpkin carving will begin at 6:30PM at the Furnace Stack Pavilion. Please bring a pumpkin, carving tool, candle, and flashlight. You will not get pumpkin back if it goes on the raft. The Hairy Hand Event is always the last Saturday in October at 6:30PM. Come and join us for a wonderful time!
