Murder Being Investigated In North Middleton Township

On Saturday, July 15, 2006, at about 9:00 pm, police arrested Shane Alvin GEEDY for Criminal Homicide after he turned himself into police. GEEDY was taken to Cumberland County Prison after police discovered his girlfriend, Toni MYERS, age 42, lying dead in the basement of GEEDY’s home.GEEDY has been charged with one count of Criminal Homicide. The investigation is still continuing. A preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held within three to ten days.
